Beppe di Maria's passion for viticulture was born from childhood memories, which led to the birth of Carvinea, a name that comes from the medieval version of today's Carovigno, whose meaning was "frugiferous", bearer of fruit, in reference to the fertility of the lands suitable for viticulture.
